Welcome to July. The VAA Collective has quietly been working on some pretty big projects. We have a few upcoming shows that we’re participating and atleast a couple that we’re hosting ourselves, info will be released at a later date. I’ll be away for the entire month of July working on a Photography Project that will find me wandering the West Bank and Israel. Luckily, my host has a pretty solid connection to the outside world, so I will keep you updated. Keep checking back, here at the Visual Art Assassination because we’ve got alot coming very soon.
If you’re in the Philadelphia area, be sure to check out all the events coinciding with the 4th of July weekend. There are no less than about 2 dozen parties, free concerts and live events taking place all over the city and…..this friday of course, is the First Friday of the month and that means that most of the art galleries in Philly will be hosting Opening Receptions, Art Parties and Meet and Greets. I highly recommend hitting up Old City right around the neighborhood of 2nd and Market.
