Call for Entries – Denver Photographic Art Gallery
flash@workingwithartists.org

Flash Gallery of Denver has opened a call for its next juried show:

Mind/Full: A Contemplative View of Photography
Call for Photographic/Photo Based Mixed Media Entries

Show runs March 8 – April 20, 2008
Flash Gallery, Lakewood, Colorado
Reception Friday, March 8, 6-9pm

For a full prospectus visit us at: http://www.workingwithartists.org/opportunities.html

The Show:
Imagine how the world looks when you slow down, clear your mind and see your subject in a whole, new way. Show us where photography as a mindful, spiritual practice takes you. Meditate on your subject and consider what caused you to pick up the camera and capture an image. The result can be far different from traditional compositions or photographs designed to make a statement or document an event. Show us how you see more with less – enter your photographic meditations in Mind/Full.

This is a duo photographic exhibit held at FLASH and at 910 Arts Gallery in Denver. “Best of show” selected works juried into Mind/Full will go to the 910 Arts Gallery in Denver. Showing in the front gallery at 910 Arts in conjunction with Mind/Full is internationally acclaimed artist, John Daido Loori, exhibiting the world premier of “The Tao of Water.” The duo exhibition takes place during the annual Society for Photographic Education symposium held this year in Denver, Colorado, March 13-16. Need another reason to enter? March is the Month of Photography in Denver. So go ahead, let us see what you’ve been contemplating!
